I would like to introduce you to the Arizona Asian Festival, organized by the Arizona Asian American Association.  This will be our 23rd year.  This free festival showcases nearly 20 diverse Asian cultures, and it provides a platform for various groups to come together: chambers of commerce, community organizations, businesses, schools, and artists gathered on two days to present experiences to deepen visitors' knowledge and understanding of Asia.  We will have cultural performers from both Asia and local Arizonan performers of all ages on two different stages, including the ever-popular tradition fashion show. We will have activities for kids, an Asian marketplace, and culinary taste of Asia.  One of the highlights is our tea garden, which demonstrates the important Asian tea ceremonies in multiple cultures.  We will have booths on civic engagement and health screenings as well as various local vendors.   One new feature we are including is an exhibit about Asian and other immigrants who served in our military.

This year’s festival promises to be the largest one yet.  It was estimated that over 15,000 people attended last year’s festival.  We plan on building on the successes from that to expand our attendance this year to 25,000.   We expect that number to rise with additional outreach programs to the community.

Your support is very important for our success as we share these cultures in this family-oriented festival.  Your support will help us achieve our goals. The Arizonan Asian American Association is a registered non-profit, 503-C. we will be celebrating our organization’s 30th anniversary this year. The Arizona Asian American Association’s mission is to enhance unity, bring awareness to the public of cultural diversity, and address relevant issues, thereby strengthening the relationship between Asian Americans and the community at large.

We invite your company to support and sponsor the Arizona Asian Festival.  Your generous contribution is very much needed to make this festival a great success.
